Kimochi Presents Silver Bells Arts & Crafts Faire
Saturday, December 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Event Center at Saint Mary's Cathedral
Get all of your holiday shopping done in one day, at our new location
at the Saint Mary's Cathedral Event Center, 1111 Gough Street in
San Francisco.
This event will be featuring handcrafted Asian & Pacific Islander
items made by mroe than 60 talented artisans. Raffle drawings will
be held throughout the day.

Winter Bulldog Basketball Camp
December 26, 27, 29, 30 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon

Our Winter Bulldog Basketball Camp will emphasize fundamental skills,
including shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding and defense.
Our camps lends itself to the camper who has never before participated,
as well as to the camper who has vast team experience.
The Bulldog Basketball Camp is directed by Pat Mulligan. Pat has
been the boys varsity coach at Raoul Wallenberg High School since
1991. In 2003, Pat was recognized by the California Interscholastic
Federation with the prestigious Model Coach Award. In 2005, Pat
again led the bulldogs to the AAA semi-finals.
The Bulldog Basketball Camp will be held at the Japanese Cultural
and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter Street
in San Francisco's Japantown. The cost for attending this four day
camp is $95 for JCCCNC members and $120 for non-members.

In 1999, Yamada Seika, a manju-ya in San Francisco Japantown, closed its doors after 36 years of business.
The owner, Mr. George Yamada, not only generously donated his mochi making machine to the JCCCNC but has
shared his talents and joy of mochi making with the community. Participants will have the opportunity to watch
Mr. Yamada transform hot cooked rich into mochi. Participants will then have the opportunity to make their own mochi
balls to take home.
The event will be held at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter
Street in San Francisco, Japantown. The cost of the event has yet to be determined.

weekely magazine show that explores and illuminates the diversity
and flair of Asian Pacific American cultures and lifestyles recently
debuted this past sunday with showings every week at 12:30 p.m.

The host is 1997 Miss Universe, Brook Lee, who has hosted programs
on ESPN, the Travel Channel, and E! Entertainment Channel.

Japanese Language Courses Offered at Nobiru-Kai
Japanese language courses for beginner and advanced students are now
in session at the Nobiru-Kai office located at 1840 Sutter St. Suite
#207 in San Francisco's Japantown. Students can study Japanese in
a ligh-t mood at competitive prices. Classes offered are:
*Level 1 (beginning) - Saturdays 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
*Level 2 (Beginning) - Saturdays 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
*Level 4 (Advanced) - Saturdays 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The tuition is $7 per class for Nobiru-Kai members and $10 per class
for non-members. There re is a $10 fee for each session after the
